The city is located on the merging of Texas State Routes 10 and 183, west of Dallas-Fort Worth Airports in the north-east of the county, north of a side arm of Trinity Rivers and has a total surface area of 42.1 km² with no significant surface area.

The town was founded in 1867 by Elisha Adam Euless, a farmer and businessman from Tennessee, who settled here, and so on. a. It was built in 1984 and after it was named.

According to the 2000 census, 46,005 people lived here in 19,218 households and 11,626 families. The population density was 1,091.7 inhabitants per km².
